Fuel Facility Pipeline Integrity Management Plans
GRK is currently completing IMP plans associated with several bulk fuel facilities within the continental United States.
Soil and groundwater investigations and assessments
Work includes receptor evaluations, advancement of borings and temporary groundwater monitoring wells and soil/groundwater sampling for petroleum hydrocarbons, volatile organics, semi-volatile organics and lead. (States of Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas)
Design and implementation of an RNA Corrective Action Plan (CAP)
We designed the Remediation by Natural Attenuation (RNA) CAP. We are in the final phase (final quarter) of implementation monitoring and we anticipate obtaining site closure in the very near future.
UST Closure by Removal
On a UST site in which horizontal and vertical delineation of contaminate plume is complete and a CAP is soon to be impleted, four underground storage tanks have been removed. Report has been submitted to ADEM.
Soil and Groundwater impact from gasoline release, free product in monitoring wells
GRK completed Soil and groundwater sampling activities including monitoring well installation. Free product recovery ongoing using high vacuum extraction process. Horizontal and vertical delineation of subsurface impact is complete. Corrective action in progress.
UST Closure Assessment
Work included removal of 4 underground Storage Tanks and preparation of closure document. Current phase of work includes horizontal and vertical delineation of detected contamination.
Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, and Alabama
Completed multiple Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in several states in which records reviews, interviews, and site reconnaissance was conducted to reduce clients’ risk of environmental liabilities in commercial real estate transactions.
Transaction Screen Reports in Alabama and Texas
Provided clients with reports concerning environmental issues associated with their commercial real estate transactions.
Tank Closure leading to Preliminary Investigation
Four underground storage tanks, dispensers, and product lines were removed and closure report submitted. Prelimary Investigation scheduled.
